Submission details
We invite submissions to PhilAI 2027 for presentation at the workshop.
Regular papers
Regular papers may be up to 10 pages, including appendices and excluding references. These papers should describe substantial, original and unpublished research.
Short papers
Short papers may be up to 4 pages, including appendices and excluding references.
Suitable contributions include:
- focused research contributions
- project presentations
- system demonstrations
- research tools
- work in progress
- negative results
- surveys
- tutorials
- opinion pieces
Abstract submissions
Authors may alternatively submit an abstract of between 1–2 pages for presentation without publication as a full paper. Abstract submissions should be non-anonymous.
Presentation formats
Accepted papers and abstracts may be presented as oral presentations, posters or demonstrations. Authors may indicate their preferred format, but the final decision will be made by the PhilAI 2027 Organisation Committee.
Review process
Regular and short papers submitted for publication in the proceedings will undergo formal double-blind peer review and will receive at least two reviews by experts in the field.
Abstracts will be submitted non-anonymously and will be assessed by the PhilAI 2027 Organisation Committee for inclusion in the programme.
Proceedings
Papers accepted for presentation at the conference will be included in the PhilAI 2027 proceedings, which will be published as part of the Northern European Association for Language Technology (NEALT) Proceedings Series by DSpace at Tartu University Library , as freely available Gold Open Access.
